Detecting early menopause at an early stage, that is, detecting it before a woman has entered menopause, is very important for having a child. The most successful assisted reproductive method for having a child in early menopause is IVF treatment. But if a woman has never had a period for a year, if early menopause has been diagnosed at this stage, there is no chance of having a child with IVF treatment either.
How is early menopause diagnosed?
If there is still no bleeding after a year has passed, early menopause can be diagnosed in this case. The necessary examinations and examinations should definitely be performed and causes other than menopause should be ruled out.
During menopause, the ovaries no longer produce eggs. For this reason, the woman’s chances of getting pregnant are not in question. In addition, since the hormones estrogen and progesterone decrease due to the lack of egg production, the inner layer of the uterus does not thicken. Thickening of the inner layer of the uterus is necessary for the settlement of pregnancy. In cases where there is no thickening, pregnancy is not in question.

Is there a cure for early menopause?
If it is necessary to remove the ovaries after surgical interventions, early menopause may occur. In this case, eggs are not produced from the ovaries and the production of estrogen-progesterone hormone decreases. But if only the uterus has been removed by surgical means and the ovaries have been left, menopause does not occur. Chemotherapy and radiation therapy due to cancer treatments can lead to menopause.
For whatever reason, if early menopause has been diagnosed, there is no treatment that can reverse this condition and allow a woman to produce eggs again. If the diagnosis of early menopause was made before the cessation of menstruation, diseases that may lead to early menopause should be diagnosed at this stage, and the age of early menopause should be postponed with the treatment of these diseases.
Although there is a chance to have a child with IVF treatment, which will be applied before entering early menopause, it is not possible to have a child with IVF treatment in early menopause.
